Benchmark

Overview

Benchmark is an honest positioning panel that compares Nuve against enterprise PLM/ALM products such as PTC Windchill, Siemens Teamcenter, Dassault ENOVIA/3DEXPERIENCE and Codebeamer. The panel positions Nuve not as a replacement for those products, but as "a lightweight orchestration product that unifies PLM/ERP/ALM data in a layer of 3D visual decisions, domestic content, issues and actions".

Key Concepts

  • Capability matrix — a table marking 18 PLM/ALM capabilities (EBOM/MBOM/ERP reconciliation, 3D risk overlay, requirement repository, ReqIF, lifecycle/effectivity, RBAC, audit trail, native CAD parser and so on) as "Yes / Partial / No" for Nuve, Windchill/Teamcenter, ENOVIA and Codebeamer; each row carries a short, candid comment.
  • Overall score — a positioning score out of 10 for each product (for example Nuve is at 7.3 today with a target of 7.6+; Windchill/Teamcenter are at 9.0).
  • Product scores — the relative maturity scores of Nuve's own internal modules (e.g. Visual BOM Master, Localization Master).

Typical Workflow

  1. Open Benchmark from the left-hand menu.
  2. Use the score cards at the top to compare Nuve's current and target level against the overall scores of competing products.
  3. Find a row of interest in the capability matrix (e.g. "ReqIF import/export") and read the status of Nuve and its competitors along with the candid comment.
  4. Use the per-product scores in the lower section to see which Nuve module is the most mature/sellable.

Feature Reference

  • An 18 capability × 4 product comparison matrix (Yes / Partial / No status plus an explanatory note)
  • Overall positioning score cards (including current level and target level)
  • Relative maturity scores for Nuve's own modules

Constraints / Known Limits

  • This panel is a static content panel — it does not fetch data from any backend API; all scores and comparison notes are hardcoded in the frontend.
  • The competitor scores (Windchill, Teamcenter, ENOVIA, Codebeamer) do not come from a live market research engine but from the product team's own assessment; they need to be updated by hand periodically.
  • There is no functionality that lets a user enter their own product/market data and build a custom comparison — this is not a "tool" but a fixed positioning/honesty panel.
